Thanks, it's been nice to hear from you. I always recognize your telegraph-style right away, Israel! I have been doing quite well in crazy Istanbul, after more than 3.000km of cycling I arrived here. Now I'm mostly busy with writing. It's hardly possible to walk around the city for too long, if you don't wanna be overrun by tourists and traffic and bothered to death by souvenir vendors, etc. I'll leave here on Monday 25th, go along the Bosporus, then Black Sea Coast, then across Western Turkey to Kappadocia towards the Southeast, Syrian border. I have got some helpfull and very interesting info on Syria (and Jordan) by another member of this forum who has lived quite some time in the country. Right know I'm writing the rest of my report up to Istanbul, hope to finish today.
Give my best regards and hugs to the whole family - Daniel, Schachah in Goa, (will she be back in December?), good old favourite niece Michal(incl. Uri), and specially Gabi.
