Hallo !
We´ve made very good experiences on our tours like tour 4 on 25. Juni 1999 / june 25, 1999 (Moody to Gorham) or tour 5 - first day in Sweden. It´s not only the cheap accomodation and the foot for free you may expect. More important is to meet people who may are uncomplicated as you, to get many interesting informations not distorted by a tourist office and realy help in all kinds. We are members of WSL for about 5 years. Unfortunately until now we haven´t accomodated anybody. May be because we are also activ cyclists. One is for sure. Most of the members of WSL are aktiv in cycling and of course on tour during the nice season. Let me use the opportunity to thank Ann and Ken, Lotta and Henning for the nice days we´ve spent together and of course all the many members of the German ADFC WSL. They helped us to made our tours to very exciting stories.

We used the WSL during our "Europe Tour" this year (2003), staying with couples in Belgium, Holland & Germany. It was a great experience in that all of the people we stayed at made us most welcome and gave us a lot of local information, and side trips, that you will not find in guide books.

hey you,
it is meant the directions to the city you live in, i guess.

a couple months ago i hosted a german guy who just came back from a two-years-trip through north and south america (frank, are you still active in here??); he got my address from the wsl as well. it is really a great opportunity to meet nice people. i already have three addresses in the us, where i am definitely welcome to stay a night or two. thank you gene and william (florida) and peter (nyc) for offering your home to me smile

Been a member for about 4 years and had some great cyclists come and stay.

As we're currently doing a world trip by bicycle we've stayed with a few members (in Italy & Slovenia). They were amazingly helpful and great hosts. Really helps having a local cyclist fill you in about routes & bike shops!

Only wish that the format was a bit more travel friendly!
