I live in Asturias, near Galicia. True, the pilgrimage way is nice, you can do the classical route or the coastal route, all along the coast of Spain. Galicia in summer is packed with tourists, as everywhere I guess, but it is lovely, acommodation is not that expensive and food and people are nice and good.
if you pass by my region post me and I will try to meet you. Asturias is also very nice.
