You are really a lucky man. I stay (and work ) here in northern of switzerland (near Basle) and I am very confuse about the terrible weather conditions. Cold, rainy and windy days.
I ask myself when the possibilty will come to make fine bicycle tours.

Lance, hey man.... the weather is kick ass here in the smokeys,75 degrees today, and I'm heading into the forest to visit one of our wilderness groups. I'm a field Director for a wildernes program.
